What We Believe

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and inerrant in all its original documents. It is our ultimate authority for faith and practice. We are members of the Presbyterian Church in America. The Constitution of the Presbyterian Church in America, which is subject to and subordinate to the Bible, consists of its doctrinal standards set forth in the Westminster Confession of Faith, together with the Larger and Shorter Catechisms, and the Book of Church Order, comprising the Form of Government, the Rules of Discipline and the Directory for Worship; all as adopted by the Church.

Creator of the Universe (Genesis 1:1). One, existing as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (John 10:30; Titus 3:4-6).

All humanity has sinned - willfully rebelling against God (Romans 3:10, 23).

The Grace of God saves humanity from its sinful condition through faith in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23-26). Throughout eternity, we will either exist separated from God in Hell due to our sinful rebellion, or in union with God in Heaven due to the forgiveness and salvation that accompany faith in Jesus Christ (Matthew 13:40-43; Revelation 21:3-5).

Founded on the day of Pentecost, consisting of all Christians everywhere (Acts 2:1-47; Ephesians 4:4-6).
Church Practices
Baptism: Believers mark their faith in Jesus by being immersed in water as taught and exemplified in the Bible. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:38).
Communion: Taken each week in remembrance of the body and blood of Jesus Christ (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:23-28).
Church Leadership
A board of elders oversee all the affairs of the church (1 Timothy 3:1-7).
